3. Can I restrict my gift to a particular beneficiary(ies)?
Yes, you will have the ability to choose which beneficiary(ies) you would like to restrict or you can donate ArchdioceseOne gifts without any restrictions.
4. Will unrestricted gifts be used to support anything other than the appeal?
No.
5. What if the beneficiary I restrict my gift to reaches its goal? Will my restriction be honored?
Yes. Gifts will only be used for their restricted purpose.
6. Will contributions to ArchdioceseOne impact the parish/cluster taxa assessment?
No.
7. How will information about ArchdioceseOne be shared?
Information will be shared in as many ways as possible. That will include this website, the Archdiocese of Dubuque website, email, social media posts and direct mail. Information will include how fundraising is progressing, more information about the beneficiaries and how appeal funds are being used.
8. How will ArchdioceseOne financially impact parishes/clusters or Catholic schools?
We pray there will be no effect. This is a special appeal. Gifts should be considered “sacrificial” in nature, above and beyond regular support for your parish/cluster or Catholic school. Gifts for ArchdioceseOne should not come at the expense of local parishes or Catholic schools.
9. Can local parishes and/or Catholic schools conduct capital campaigns during the pledge period of ArchdioceseOne?
Yes. There are no moratoriums on local fundraising efforts.
10. When can I make my contribution to ArchdioceseOne?
Each parish will participate in the appeal during a 10-week local appeal period, as a part of the ArchdioceseOne appeal effort. These local appeal periods will take place throughout 2022 and conclude in 2023.
11. What if I wish to make my donation prior to my parish’s local appeal window?
